Monsoon weather and safe access
The National Weather Service Tucson publishes monsoon safety guidance, while the City’s Operation Splash addresses hazardous dip crossings. Follow current official warnings and road closures. Do not cross floodwater to reach a property. Read what to record after monsoon water entry once you can do so safely.
Indoor leaks need their own source investigation
A leak from a pipe, fixture or appliance may continue independently of the weather. Explain whether the source has stopped and which spaces are adjacent or below. Our appliance leak guide and ceiling and wall guide cover different inspection questions.
Do not use the climate as the drying test
Outdoor warmth or dry air does not establish the moisture condition within walls or layered floors. Ask about measured progress and completion criteria in the drying guide. Persistent odor or growth calls for an appropriate mold assessment.
Have the full address ready
Give the street address, unit number, entrance, parking constraints and any safely observed access issue. If a road is closed, explain that before a visit is scheduled. Confirm that the business accepts both the address and type of work; neither this map nor a locality name establishes availability.
